3rd Aromatic Plant

The 3rd aromatics project is cited in the petrochemical special economic zone located at north west of the exiting Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex (BIPC). BoualiSina Petrochemical Company (BSPC) was established in 1998 as affiliate of national petrochemical company of Iran (NPC). Light & heavy naphtha is the feed stock and will produce valuable & profitable aromatics, such as para-xylene & ortho-xylene for domestic use and benzene for export.

This project is located in petrochemical special economic zone with an area of 30 hectares. Attempts have been made to localize the engineering & equipment’s manufacturing in order to utilize the Iranian expertise and most advanced technology available in the industrialized world.

Our pride comes from the fact that in spite of severe complexity of the project and advanced technology, only the license and basic engineering of construction have been executed by Iranian entities. Mechanical and electrical equipment, instrumentation, heavy lifts operation, pre-commissioning and assistance in commissioning activities were implemented by Iran industrial networks development as per plan period.

The plant was successfully completed and commissioned in 2004, utilizing 8 million man hours.
